Tilly Scott - Recruitment Consultant (Scotland)

Tilly is a Recruitment Consultant on the Scotland Desk at JMC Legal Recruitment, where she specialises in supporting legal professionals and law firms across the Scottish market. 

Since joining the firm in 2025, she has built a strong network spanning boutique practices through to leading Legal 500 firms, giving her a well-rounded view of opportunities across Scotland. Tilly works with candidates at all stages of their careers, from NQ Solicitors through to Senior hires, and regularly supports lawyers relocating within the UK and internationally. 

Having taken a non-linear route into recruitment, Tilly brings a thoughtful and empathetic approach to her work. She is focused on helping candidates make informed, long-term career decisions that align with both their professional ambitions and personal priorities. 

Originally from the Scottish Borders, Tilly has a genuine passion for not only the Scottish legal market, but Scotland itself and enjoys sharing her insight with clients and candidates alike. 

Outside of work, she enjoys running (having recently completed her first marathon), long country walks, horse riding, wild swimming and spending time with friends, which often involves lots of good food and drinks.
