A leading UK law firm is looking to appoint a newly qualified to 2 years' PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its respected Clinical Negligence team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to gain hands-on experience in high-value and complex medical negligence claims, particularly those involving birth injuries.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality legal advice and client service, while also contributing to business development and the ongoing growth of the team's strong reputation in this specialist area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior lawyers in managing complex birth injury cases, with a focus on the quantum aspects.
  • Handle client communications, taking instructions and ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met.
  • Develop client relationship skills through close collaboration with partners and senior colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive team dynamic and build strong internal relationships.
  • Ensure effective time recording, billing, and financial management of files
  • Monitor performance against personal and team objectives.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with between 0 and 2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Prior exposure to complex clinical negligence, birth injury, or serious personal injury cases.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities.
  • Confident working with Excel and comfortable with numerical data.
