Located in the heart of the city of Frankfurt, an opportunity has arisen for an associate to join and add value to the commercial disputes department of this international law firm. Commercial disputes associates between1-6 years of experience are invited to apply to join this firm on its continued growth journey.

The Commercial Disputes team advise domestic German and international clients in the context of domestic and international arbitrations, including commercial and investment arbitrations, as well as in litigation proceedings in German state courts. The Opportunity:
The firm need to hire an associate for their commercial disputes team, which is currently comprised of 2 partners, and 1 associate. The hire is motivated both by previously mentioned growth ambitions and an increasing case load for the team.

You will:

• Deal with all matters pertaining to commercial disputes as guided by more senior colleagues where appropriate;
• Provide advice on disputes concerning competition law, corporate law, D&O liability insurance, M&A contracts, shareholder and joint venture agreements or supply relationships for example;
• Work closely with the partners in the team; and
• Deal with any other commercial disputes matters as they arise.

The Candidate:
You will be a qualified commercial disputes lawyer with between 1-6 years of relevant employment experience; keen to grow your own career whilst playing a key role in the overall growth strategy of the team and the firm. You will have strong drafting skills, commercial awareness and language abilities (German and English at least).
