The Role: As a Contentious Probate Solicitor, you will:

• Work on a diverse caseload of contentious probate matters, including:
• Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act claims
• Will challenges (capacity, knowledge, approval)
• Trust disputes, executor and trustee issues
• Proprietary estoppel, construction and rectification claims
• Court of Protection disputes
• Handle both bringing and defending claims, providing expert legal advice and representation.
• Work alongside experienced professionals, including Full Members of ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists).
• Support the team in achieving business development goals and enhancing the firm's profile in the marketplace.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
  Skills & Experience:
  • 5-10 years PQE in contentious probate (although applications from less experienced candidates with an interest in this area will also be considered).
  • Strong technical knowledge in contentious probate matters or a willingness to quickly develop expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own caseload.
  • Proactive, confident, and able to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude.
