The corporate team, comprising over 70 dedicated lawyers, excels in providing comprehensive legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurs, SMEs, financial institutions, and FTSE 100 companies. With a presence across 13 UK locations, the team specializes in a wide array of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, fundraising, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance.

About the Role:

The Oxford Corporate team is excited to invite applications from ambitious candidates looking to advance their careers. While the ideal candidate will have 1+ PQE, those with varying levels of experience are also encouraged to apply. The role will encompass a broad spectrum of corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, corporate restructuring, and private equity transactions. Successful candidates will thrive in a collaborative environment and will be encouraged to build their own client relationships from an early stage, with support for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary client service and maintain a consistently high standard of work.
  • Demonstrate strong financial management and commercial awareness, including accurate time recording and billing, while meeting firm targets and managing WIP.
  • Drive business development initiatives to retain existing clients and cultivate new relationships.
  • Keep technical expertise up to date and ensure compliance with SRA competence standards.
  • Take ownership of personal development and enhance interpersonal and soft skills.
  • Undertake any reasonable tasks as required to support the team and firm.
