An exciting opportunity for a 4+ PQE Corporate Lawyer who is looking to relocate to New Zealand has just arrived! You will be working in corporate law that focuses on advisory and M&A for projects, renewable energy and infrastructure deals.
This role is a great chance to practice in a new country while gaining exposure to a different, diverse legal system.
Role
There is a chance to join a Corporate Advisory practice with one of the Legal 500 ranked firms in New Zealand.
Working with two well-known partners in the energy and infrastructure space, you'll have the chance to be at the forefront of transactions that help move the environmental and economic needle for their clients and for Aotearoa.
This is a broad role that requires someone to be genuinely interested in this area and have experience working with large clients on commercial projects.
As part of the team, you'll be heavily involved in all sorts of advisory and transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings, contract drafting for projects and suppliers, joint ventures and shareholder structures.

Ideal candidate
- A Corporate Solicitor with 4+ PQE
- Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients, and has the ambition and communication skills to further develop client relations
- Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current banking law landscape
- Has passion for the legal industry and willingness to learn in a new legal system format
