This is a standout opportunity for a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate (4-7 PQE) to join a highly regarded international law firm in the City of London.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate (4-7 PQE) to join a highly successful Corporate team in London.

The team works on a broad range of high-value, cross-border transactions, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, capital markets, and corporate advisory matters. As a key member of the team, you will provide legal advice to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and private equity clients on complex and strategic deals.

These clients include Fortune 100, FTSE 100, CAC 40, HKE and DAX-listed companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on complex cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
  • Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including competition law and corporate governance regulations.
  • Providing strategic legal advice to boards of directors, management teams, and investors.
  • Assisting with due diligence and risk analysis.
  • Supporting clients in post-transaction integration, ensuring a smooth transition and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 4-7 years PQE in corporate law.
  • Strong experience in M&A transactions; exposure to ECM and public M&A is beneficial.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
  • Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 or equivalent from a reputed institution).
  • Commercially astute with the ability to manage client relationships and develop business.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-performing team.
