The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Partner to join a growing and dynamic team in Manchester at a key stage of its expansion.


The department advises an impressive roster of clients including financial institutions, entrepreneurs, investors and established regional and national businesses.

The work is diverse and high quality, covering mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, corporate finance, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, share options, demergers and restructurings. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced Head of Department who brings over twenty years of experience in advising on major corporate transactions.

The team's recent work highlights include advising shareholders on a £30m cross-border sale of a pharmaceutical business, supporting a family-owned company through a £10m management buyout, advising on a £12m manufacturing acquisition and representing shareholders in the £44m sale of a self-storage group.

You will play an important role in driving the department's continued growth, working closely with the wider partnership and contributing to strategy, business development and client management.

Requirements

* You will be a Corporate Partner with a strong track record in corporate transactions and a well-established network across Manchester or the wider North West market.
* You will be confident in managing and developing client relationships and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
* You will have strong technical ability, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
* A following or portable client base would be advantageous but not essential where there is a clear business plan.
