The Role

• Lead the establishment and development of the corporate team in Bournemouth, working closely with partners and other departments to build a cohesive offering.
• Handle a diverse caseload of corporate transactions including M&A, private equity, shareholder agreements, group restructures, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.
• Play a key role in business development, building relationships with local referrers, clients, and intermediaries to grow the firm's presence in the local corporate market.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices on cross-disciplinary matters.
• Support and help supervise junior lawyers as the team expands.

What You Will Bring

• Qualified Solicitor (4+ PQE) with solid experience in a wide range of corporate matters.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactional work and run files independently.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence in client engagement and business development.
• A collaborative approach and interest in building a new team/office.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers is an advantage.
• A following or established network in the local market would be highly advantageous but not essential.
