They now seek a Court of Protection (COP) solicitor with NQ-2+ PQE to join its flourishing department in North London.

The Role:

This Legal 500 firm seeks a Court of Protection Solicitor NQ-2+ to join a highly-established COP department.

This is a unique role where the department represents protected parties and family members in complex health and welfare proceedings before the Court of Protection and the High Court.

You will work on a quality caseload consisting of all property/financial aspects of COP.

Your caseload may also include; making decisions about their clients' health and welfare, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Judicial Reviews, LPAs, carer's rights, and issues relating to the Care Act 2014.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Court of Protection Solicitor NQ-2+ years PQE
  • You will possess a passion for working within Court of Protection
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • You will be an ambitious individual who wants to progress in their career
  • You must be someone who is a self-starter.
  • You will have a strong collaborative approach to working
  • A meticulous eye for detail is essential
