The Role

Based out of the firm's growing Inverness office, you will have the opportunity to support national and local clients with their most complex and engaging commercial and personal disputes. Acting in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, you will work across a range of commercial issues such as breach of contract, misrepresentation, insolvency disputes, director's duties, and real estate matters ain the form of contentious private client work.

Furthermore, the litigation will span the full spectrum of sectors, from energy, financial services, technology, transport and more, making for an engaging position.

The Partners within the team are some of the sharpest dispute professionals in Scotland and will be a massive support to the furthering of your career.

You will be a core member of this experienced, friendly team and will have ample career progression opportunities in addition to receiving support to develop professionally.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Is an NQ-3 year solicitor with of experience of contentious matters
  • Experience managing your own caseload in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session is a benefit
  • Commercial focus
  • Has strong attention to detail and organisation
  • First-rate interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients
