About the Role
A vacancy has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (Associate/Senior Associate) with approximately 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a vibrant and supportive team, ideally based in Oxford. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Partner and Head of the Oxford Team, recognized by the Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner.
The role involves a dynamic workload that prioritizes client interests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for employment law, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. The team takes a comprehensive approach to their work, providing corporate-level service while maintaining a personal touch. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality client service and care consistently.
  • Exhibit competent financial management, including accurate time tracking, billing, and work-in-progress (WIP) management.
  • Actively engage in business development initiatives to retain existing clients and expand the client base.
  • Keep technical knowledge up-to-date and comply with SRA competence standards.
  • Take ownership of personal development, enhancing interpersonal and soft skills continuously.
  • Undertake additional reasonable tasks as required.
