The Role

You will advise major commercial clients-including FTSE 100 companies and financial services institutions-on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Typical work includes:

  • Day-to-day HR advisory matters (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, family leave, working time)
  • Employment aspects of corporate and real estate transactions (including TUPE and outsourcing)
  • Employment litigation in tribunals and civil courts
  • Collective employment matters such as restructures and redundancies
  • Internal investigations and regulatory compliance reviews


You will be part of a top-tier UK Employment team, collaborating on complex, cross-border mandates while contributing to the continued expansion of the practice in the South West.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in employment law
  • Experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Strong technical and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
