The role
The firm are seeking to hire an Employment Partner; to join their growing employment team, their office is based in the heart of the West End of London.
- The employment team consists of a team of four. The firm are currently succession planning, along with the fact the department is incredibly busy, this is causing them to want to hire a new Employment Partner into the team.
- The team are extremely entrepreneurial and ambitious, they have recently won an award for the service they offer. You will find there to be a high energy between the team to drive the department forwards.
- The team currently deal with quite an even mix of claimant and respondent work, currently it is 70% non-contentious, 30% contentious.
- The team deals with a fairly varied client base across a number of industry sectors including; Technology companies, Logistics, Travel , FMCG, Retail and Hospitality to name a few.
- You will work with the other partners to drive the department forwards, you will also in time (18-24 months) take over from the current Employment Partner that is due to retire. You will also get involved in business development and mentoring and training of the associates.
- This role could prove to be a good platform for progression for a senior solicitor seeking a route to partnership, perhaps in a top-heavy team.
- You will be an Employment Solicitor with at least seven years PQE (no upper limit)
- Salary and package are negotiable depending on your background and experience, there is also a lucrative bonus structure that allows you to boost earnings by way of billings.
