Position: Employment Solicitor
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are a well-established regional law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across a wide range of practice areas. Our employment team is expanding, and we are seeking a motivated and client-focused solicitor to join us.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm, contributing to the continued growth and development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Advising on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including:
Unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and restrictive covenants.
Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
Advising on HR procedures, grievance, and disciplinary processes.
Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate.
Conducting legal research and staying up to date with legislative and case law developments.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery.
Assisting with business development initiatives and supporting the firm's marketing activities.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified solicitor (minimum 2 years' PQE preferred, but all levels considered).
Strong technical knowledge of employment law and procedure.
Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Strong client management and communication skills.
A commercial and solutions-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
