Located in the heart of the City of Frankfurt, an opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join and add value to the EU Regulatory department of this international law firm. The EU Regulatory team advise in matters concerning antitrust investigations, cartels, competition compliance and advisory as well as disputes, merger control, market investigations and broad regulatory advice. The team have assisted clients on a large number of the Competition and Markets Authority's recent market investigations, have an enviable track record in antitrust investigations, merger clearances and competition litigation, and handle state aid/subsidy control and procurement matters, as an integral part of the client's underlying commercial or financial transactions.

The Opportunity:
The firm need to hire an associate for their EU team, undertaking predominantly regulatory work. The hire is motivated both by previously mentioned growth ambitions and an increasing case load for the team.
You will:
- Deal with all matters pertaining to EU Regulatory law as guided by more senior colleagues where appropriate;
- Provide advice on EU regulations as they pertain to corporate transactions of the firm's activity;
- Provide regulatory advice on related corporate commercial matters as they arise; and
- Work closely with the partners in the team.
The Candidate:
You will be a qualified EU Regulatory lawyer with between 1-6 years of relevant experience and be keen to grow your career whilst playing a key role in the overall growth strategy of the team and the firm. You will have strong drafting skills, meticulous attention to detail, together with commercial awareness and language abilities (German and English at least).
