The role

The firm are seeking to hire a Family Partner; to join their growing family team, their office is based in the heart of the West End of London.

  • The family department consists of a team of four. Although much smaller than some of the firms other departments, the quality of work that they handle is exceptional. The department prides itself on adding real value to clients, their levels of service are well-demonstrated by the fact the majority of the departments work comes in through referrals.
  • The team are entrepreneurial and ambitious, you will find there to be a high energy between the team to drive the department forwards.
  • The lead partner in the team is due to retire within the next 24 months. As such the firm are seeking to hire an additional family partner to run the department with the current Head of Department. In time it is the belief that you will take over from the current HOD - meaning this role comes with excellent prospects for progression.
  • You will deal with a high quality, solely privately funded caseload, this will mainly be financial matters, but will also from time to time include some private children work.
  • This role could prove to be a good platform for progression for a senior solicitor seeking a route to partnership, perhaps in a top-heavy team.
  • You will be a Family Solicitor with at least seven years PQE (no upper limit)
  • Salary and package are negotiable depending on your background and experience, there is also a lucrative bonus structure that allows you to boost earnings by way of billings.
