The Role:

Due to the planned retirement of a Partner in their specialist family law team; the firm is looking for an ambitious 4 years + PQE solicitor to work alongside the Managing Partner and Head of the Family department.

Due to the long-standing relationships and reputation of the retiring partner, you will inherit a loyal, busy and high-value caseload of mainly Finances on divorce coupled with some Private Children work.

You will work closely alongside the department's respected Partner, giving you a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. This will allow you to develop your technical ability in a supportive environment. You will also have responsibility for a small team of junior Lawyers, giving you a platform to build the leadership skills that will put you in good stead for when you make the step up to Partnership.

Requirements:

• You will be a Family Associate or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to experience)
• Able to handle your own caseload of finances on divorce and private children work.
• You are preferably already a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Finances on Divorce and Private Law Children work.
• Confident in handling your own caseload from instruction through to completion
• Able to build close relationships with clients and referrers
• Comfortable working as part of a team and independently
