Are you a Corporate Partner in the North-West looking to head up a team, or grow a department? This Top 80 Law firm boast a strong commercial services operation in the North-West and are now looking to recruit a national head of Corporate to spearhead their growth across the UK.

The Firm

This Top 80 practice boast leading expertise over commercial work and insurance services. With significant investment being made into the practice, they are looking to expand and grow their commercial services offering across corporate law, employment, real estate, commercial advisory and more. The firm has offices all across the UK and have strong hubs in Wales, England, Scotland & Ireland giving them a strong presence coupled with the ability to attract the best legal talent on offer.

The firm has ambitious plans to double their revenue in the next 3-4 years with the addition of high quality lawyers who are looking to join a firm where they have strong influence on their practice and how it is run. The leadership team pride themselves on their soft management approach allowing their senior lawyers develop their practice how they see fit providing a unique balance financial backing / autonomy wherever required.

Having recently recruited from leading firms in the North-West, they are now looking to take their growth project to the next level.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity lead a national Corporate Team at a Top 80 Law Firm.

In this role you will be tasked with building and growing the firms Corporate presence nationally. You will be in a position to deal with a high quality level of hands on corporate work which includes M&A, PE, Joint Ventures and much more. The type of work on offer will reflect the specialisms you operate on a day to day basis.

You will also have a strong hand in the strategic direction of the department, recruitment and business development. The leadership team at this practice will invest heavily into the business plan of this position, but will equally allow you to grow and develop the department without 'red tape interference'.

Business plans which include bringing existing associates / senior associates are also highly encouraged.

Requirements

• You will be a Corporate Partner and you will be 10+ years PQE
• You will be experience across M&A, Joint Ventures, PE and the spectrum of Corporate Matters
• You will have a desire to grow and develop a practice in time with significant investment
