This well-established, Legal 500 law firm are experiencing significant growth and are looking for an entrepreneurial Family Lawyer to join the team to as their head of department. You will have full support to grow the department and autonomy over key decisions that affect the firm's growth and direction.

The Role:

The firm is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Family Lawyer to lead their Family department in Leeds.

You will be responsible for leading and directing the growth of the Family Department while being supported by the firm in marketing and networking.

You will be starting in a warm position and can leverage their existing client base and cross referrals from their strong departments as a full-service firm.
You will work on a varied and interesting caseload, including divorce, finance, and children matters.

The role comes with excellent prospects for progression, with clear Partnership prospects and the opportunity to develop and grow a team.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Family Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to experience)
  • A transferable client base or contacts is highly advantageous
  • Comfortable developing business and generating work
  • Previous experience in leading a team is desirable
