A leading national law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its specialist Incentives team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong lawyer to work within a growing and collaborative national practice, supporting a broad mix of UK and international clients on high-profile incentive matters.

The Role

The Incentives team advises on all aspects of employee incentive plans, including:

• Design and implementation of executive and all-employee share schemes
• Support with Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)
• Regulatory and compliance issues
• Executive tax planning and cross-border schemes
• IPO and M&A-related incentive support
• Ongoing operation and communication of share plans

The practice is balanced across standalone advisory work and transactional support, involving significant cross-border exposure and a healthy mix of high-growth private companies and listed corporates (main market and AIM).

Example Matters

• Advising on multi-jurisdictional incentive schemes for global tech, biotech and gaming companies
• Supporting significant corporate transactions including private equity processes and sales to EOTs
• Designing and implementing HMRC-approved and bespoke incentive arrangements for FTSE 250 companies

About You

You'll be a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with experience gained in incentives, tax, employment, or corporate law. Ideally, you will have:

• Exposure to HMRC-approved and unapproved schemes
• Knowledge of growth shares and EMI options
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• A strong interest in equity incentives, employee engagement, and corporate governance

Those coming from accountancy firms or with cross-disciplinary experience are also encouraged to apply.
