Its reputation for providing a full-service business law offering is known not only throughout France but in various other locations in the World where it serves its clients.
The firm has an impressive array of clientele from SMEs to mid-sized companies or larger groups as well as various public authorities - indeed this is very much a firm that services clients in both the public and private sectors.
The firm has a low turnover rate for its staff, which would add much credence to the claim by lawyers that work there, that this is a good firm to work for. The staff foster a collegiate and team-focussed atmosphere, and there is a lot of opportunity for senior lawyers to grow their business and enjoy both stimulating and rewarding work.
The Opportunity:
The firm would like to appoint the successful candidate as a partner joining the Arbitration Team working alongside existing arbitration partners in various fields such as construction law, real estate law, commercial law, civil liability, franchise law and insurance law. The successful candidate should be very familiar with complex negotiations, contract reviews, sensitive and important or strategic representations before the courts. The arbitration group undertakes work across the full spectrum of international arbitration cases, and it does this for clients within France and wider Europe, Africa and the Far East.
This is an opportunity to add strength to a modest-sized team in the Paris office of this client, and to help further develop the practice with new energy and insights.
The Candidate:
You will have enjoyed a solid career so far in matters of arbitration, servicing big-ticket clients through both advice and representation in courts.
You may be an existing partner of a law firm but looking to do more than simply add bench-strength to an existing team, or you may be a counsel level candidate keen to climb to the ranks of partnership. You will have your own clientele as well as serving the firms existing clientele working in some of the aforementioned sectors, confident of advising in both national and international contexts.
