The opportunity


Working within the commercial department, you'll provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support, helping the team deliver outstanding client care. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Managing fee earners' diaries, correspondence, and client calls.

  • Preparing and maintaining files, including billing, typing, photocopying, and filing.

  • Drafting straightforward legal documents and submitting Land Registry and Stamp Duty forms.

  • Liaising with clients and third parties, ensuring transactions run smoothly.

  • Supporting with reception cover, postal duties, and wider team administration where needed.

What we're looking for


We're open to candidates with existing experience or those with strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in developing within commercial or conveyancing work. You'll need:


  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally in property or commercial work (or willingness to learn).

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace.

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A calm, professional manner with a flexible, team-focused approach.
