The Role

This Top 50 firm in London is looking to hire a Managing Associate (6+ PQE) into their Tech, IP, & Data team to work as part of the wider technology and commercial team on high value, strategic public procurements and contracts.

This role will form a crucial part of their team, making it a great opportunity for the right candidate. You'll be supporting clients principally across the public sector, handling a range of technology projects, and providing advice relating to tech procurement and outsourcing.

You will manage your own projects (with partner oversight as required), ensuring your experience is varied and broad, keeping it interesting, and providing you with real opportunities to develop.

Through the national service lines, you will work with notable clients and become a public sector tech specialist. You will receive bespoke training, ensuring you have the technical, commercial, and management skills to build an effective and successful practice.

You will work on high-value strategic public procurements, and contracts and generally provide non-contentious advice on a wide range of technology projects, including framework agreements, collaborations, software purchases, digital transformation projects, cloud migration, and outsourcing.

There are even opportunities to work on-site with clients where required, including the option for virtual and in-person secondments.

The ideal candidate:

• Solicitor of England and Wales 6+ years of PQE with experience and a strong interest in commercial/technology, and ideally some experience in public sector matters.
• Highly meticulous, commercially focused, and outcome-orientated
• Strong appetite for professional growth and motivation to consistently deliver your best
