This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate specialising in Non-Contentious Construction to join a Top 20 international law firm, based in their modern Manchester office.

You will advise top-tier clients on some of the UK's and international markets' most significant construction and infrastructure projects, handling complex, high-value transactional work. From day one, you will be entrusted with a high level of responsibility and exposure to first-class matters.

The Role

As a Senior Associate in a highly regarded national Construction team, you will work alongside experienced partners and senior colleagues to advise a broad client base that includes developers, contractors, funders, consultants, and public sector bodies.

Your strategic advice will cover the full lifecycle of Construction and Infrastructure projects, including leading the drafting, negotiation, and review of construction contracts such as NEC, JCT, and bespoke forms. You will guide clients on procurement strategy, risk allocation, and project structuring.

You will take the lead on large-scale developments across sectors including energy, transport, commercial property, and public infrastructure. Your role will also involve advising on complex interface issues related to professional appointments, collateral warranties, sub-contracts, and managing joint ventures, framework agreements, and other commercial arrangements.

You will supervise and mentor junior lawyers, build strong client relationships, and contribute actively to business development initiatives. Your input will help shape the team's ongoing growth and success.

Your Experience

• 5+ years PQE with extensive experience in Non-Contentious Construction
• Proven track record managing complex transactions and significant client relationships
