The Role

You will be working closely with vastly experienced Intellectual Property specialist and the company's founder, meaning you will receive unparalleled levels of mentoring, support and guidance to enhance your skills and drive your career to the next level.

As an IP Formalities Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the patent and trademark filing process and supporting attorneys and clients with various legal and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete patent / trademark filings, ensuring compliance with all filing requirements and regulations
  • Act as a liaison between clients, patent / trade mark office personnel, and attorneys, coordinating European and foreign patent / trademark filings
  • Handle formalities such as reporting, official correspondence, and issuing patents / trademarks
  • Respond to communications from clients, foreign counsel, attorneys, and patent / trademark office personnel promptly and effectively
  • Utilise patent / trademark office electronic filing resources and websites proficiently


The Candidate:

  • You will have solid experience of patent and/ or trademark administration and filing requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ambition to forward a career in Intellectual Property
