They are looking for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join their established yet flourishing Private Wealth team in the City of London.

Based in the City they currently have a headcount of over 100 lawyers, a very impressive client base and are particularly well-known, representing an ever-increasing number of ultra HNW individuals, both nationally and internationally. Their established Private Wealth team advises UK and international high net worth and ultra-high net worth families with everything from tax, succession and estate planning, trust formation and administration, probate and estate administration to mental capacity challenges.

The Role

The firm are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Paralegal to join the team in the City of London.

The team are looking for a competent self-starter to assist the Team Leader for Tax, Compliance and Disclosure and the wider Private Wealth team.

The role will require a high level of organisation and administration, along with client work to ensure the team deliver a high level of service.

The team works with a range of clients including trustees, administrators, banks and beneficiaries.

The role has progression mapped out and as you develop in the role you'll have the opportunities to manage your own caseload under supervision - as such this is an excellent chance to secure sought after experience early in your career.

Responsibilities in this role will include:

• Working with the Private Wealth team to assist with tasks such as trust accounts, estate accounts, charity accounts and rental accounts;
• To take a proactive approach in building professional relationships with clients, co-professionals and other contacts including HMRC;
• Supporting the Team Lead for Tax, Compliance and Disclosure with completing annual accounts, tax returns and providing beneficiaries and their accountants with necessary information;
• Providing other ad hoc and regular assistance with charity administration and tax disclosure work;
• Entering accounting information into spreadsheets, reconciling accounts, and keeping detailed records of transactions to a high standard

Requirements:

• You will be a Private Client Paralegal with some experience in this area of law;
• You will be an ambitious individual who is keen to learn and develop;
• High level of numeracy is essential; and
• A positive "can do" attitude

Salary:

• Salary is competitive; 30-40k dependent on experience
