Private Client Partner
- £86000 - £130000 per annum
- City of London, London
- Permanent
Picture this: you walk into a practice with a reputation already firmly established across London, where the Private Client team is recognised for handling complex, sensitive matters with skill and discretion. But rather than stepping into a rigid structure, you are invited to help shape the future of the department. This is not a role that keeps you in the background. This is a platform for leadership.
The Firm
This respected London outfit has grown steadily over decades, becoming a trusted name for high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners. Their ethos is clear: combine technical excellence with an authentic, people-first approach. The Private Client team sits at the heart of this, advising across wills, trusts, estates, tax planning and contentious matters.
Culturally, the firm stands out. Collegiate, modern, forward-looking. Lawyers here aren't just service providers, they are mentors, innovators and future leaders.
The Role
As Private Client Partner, you will take a central role in the department's continued growth. You will advise on a broad range of matters, from complex tax and succession planning for HNW and UHNW clients to disputes around trusts and estates. At the same time, you will play a strategic role in shaping the practice, developing new relationships and mentoring junior lawyers.
Your Future Here
In the first year, you will inherit a high-quality caseload, build trust with the existing client base, and begin developing your own practice with the support of a firm that actively invests in growth. Within two years, you could be leading the department into its next chapter, with genuine equity prospects and the chance to leave your mark on one of London's most respected names.
What They're Looking For
- A senior Private Client lawyer with significant experience in HNW and UHNW work
- A track record in business development and building long-term client relationships
- Leadership qualities, with the ambition to grow a team and a practice
- Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
What's on Offer
- A genuine succession opportunity, not just a lateral move
- A pathway to equity for the right individual
- Autonomy and influence in shaping the direction of the team
- A culture that blends excellence with humanity
This is more than a partner role. It is an invitation to step into leadership at a firm where your expertise will be valued, your vision supported, and your legacy built.
