Property Litigation Solicitor

A leading London-based law firm is seeking a talented Property Litigation Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join their thriving Property Litigation team.

The Role
As a key member of the Property Litigation team, you will provide first-class legal services on a variety of commercial and residential litigation matters.
Clients include real estate developers, investors, landlords, and tenants. You'll be responsible for managing your own caseload (under supervision) and actively involved in building client relationships and contributing to business development.
Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in considering client instructions and liaising with clients and experts.
• Obtaining and analysing title information from the Land Registry.
• Drafting and serving contractual and statutory notices.
• Supporting in drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal documents.
• Handling disputes related to property contracts, insolvency, landlord/tenant issues, and more.
• Conducting legal research and preparing documentation for hearings and trials.
• Managing cost budgets, disclosure lists, and liaising with courts, Counsel, and clients.
• Participating in business development activities, including event attendance and literature preparation.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience in property litigation within private practice.
• Strong academic background (a 2:1 degree or equivalent from a reputable university).
• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong IT skills.
• The ability to manage a varied workload and work well under pressure.
