This leading UK law firm is home to one of the largest and most highly regarded Real Estate practices, comprising over 200 fee earners across 8 national locations. The successful candidate will work alongside several experienced partners, including individuals ranked in the Legal 500 for their expertise in commercial property. The firm is currently seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with 1+ years' PQE to join its growing Southampton team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters alongside experienced and supportive Solicitors, within a culture that values flexibility, innovation, and development.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a thriving national Real Estate team and handle a broad range of property matters for household-name clients. Responsibilities will include:

• Advising on acquisitions and disposals of investment, retail, industrial, and development properties
• Managing general estate and portfolio work for institutional investors, public sector bodies, and national retailers
• Advising landlords and tenants on large property portfolios
• Leading transactions from start to finish, supervising junior colleagues, and contributing to the team's strategic direction
• Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management across the South Coast and beyond

Candidate Profile

• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in Real Estate law
• A strong technical grounding in commercial property law, ideally gained at a recognised city or large regional firm
• Proven experience advising landlords and/or tenants on significant property portfolios
• A commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented approach
• Confidence in managing client relationships and a drive to support business development
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting colleagues
