A well-established and award-winning law firm with a strong national presence is looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate Solicitor or Legal Executive (2+ PQE) to join its busy Commercial Property & Finance team based in Farnborough. As demand for their real estate and finance services grows, they are now looking for a commercially astute solicitor to support a wide range of property and funding transactions.

The Role

In this role, you'll handle a broad caseload of commercial property and secured lending work. You'll advise on property acquisitions and disposals, leases, and financing arrangements, acting for a diverse client base including banks, developers, investors, and commercial landlords and tenants. You'll work closely with senior team members on high-value transactions while managing your own files, contributing to the team's continued success in this dynamic area of law.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on commercial property transactions including sales, purchases, and leases.
• Acting for lenders and borrowers in property finance matters including secured lending, refinancing, and development funding.
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and finance-related documentation.
• Conducting due diligence and managing transaction timelines.
• Collaborating across departments to deliver seamless client service.
• Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with at least 2 years' PQE in real estate law, ideally with exposure to commercial property and finance.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in property transactions and secured lending.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, client-focused approach.
• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a professional environment.
