Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest moments in a client's life, and you'll be at the heart of making that journey smoother, simpler, and more reassuring. As a Residential Property Legal Assistant, you'll be part of a team that combines technical skill with a personal touch, supporting clients and colleagues every step of the way.

The firm
This is a firm with deep roots in the community and a reputation built on excellent client service. What makes them stand out is their commitment to people: clients know they are cared for, and colleagues know their growth and wellbeing matter.

The culture here is collaborative and people-centric. Respect, inclusivity, and support are the foundation, while lifelong learning and innovation are encouraged at every level. You'll feel the benefit of being part of a team that sees the bigger picture, working together to achieve shared goals while helping you achieve your personal career ambitions.

The role
You'll play an important part in delivering the firm's mission of Great Service, Every Client, Every Time. As a Legal Secretary within the residential property team, your role will be varied and rewarding, from preparing correspondence and managing client files, to arranging meetings and attending to clients in person or on the phone.

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you'll use your strong organisational skills to keep cases moving smoothly, support fee earners with day-to-day administration, and ensure every client feels listened to and cared for. Over time, you'll have the chance to take on greater responsibility and grow your career within residential property law.

What you'll bring
* At least one year's experience working in a similar legal assistant or legal secretary role, ideally within residential property or conveyancing
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A proactive approach and the ability to use initiative
* Professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent client care
* Willingness to learn and support others in a collaborative team environment

What's on offer
* Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
* Discounted and free legal services
* Health benefits including a healthcare cashback scheme, remote GP access and EAP
* Financial benefits such as pension contributions, cycle to work and electric vehicle schemes, plus discounts with over 500 brands
* Flexible working arrangements and a self-managed time off policy
* Ongoing training and professional development to help you build your career
* A positive, inclusive culture with team social events and community activities

Why join
This isn't just about supporting transactions, it's about building a career where you're valued, where your development is invested in, and where the culture is built on respect, collaboration, and care.

If you're ready to play a vital role as a Residential Property Legal Assistant and help clients through one of life's most important milestones while developing your own career, we'd love to hear from you.
