An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 7+ PQE Senior Associate Solicitor to join a highly regarded Construction and Projects Team based in London. This role offers exposure to ground breaking projects, a collaborative international team, and the chance to develop a career within a globally respected practice.

The Team

The Construction and Projects Team boasts an exceptional reputation, advising clients across key sectors including infrastructure, energy (nuclear, renewables, and conventional), transport, real estate, waste, water, education, and healthcare.

The client portfolio includes:

  • Top-tier construction companies: Regularly working with major contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Kier, VINCI, and Morgan Sindall.
  • Financial institutions and investors: Including Lloyds, Barclays, and Equitix.
  • Energy stakeholders: Such as EDF and Scottish Power.
  • Public sector entities: Including National Highways and Southern Water.

The team has delivered legal expertise on iconic projects such as the Channel Tunnel, HS2, Crossrail, the London Olympics, and Hinkley Point. Their broad remit also encompasses smaller-scale but impactful projects, showcasing the diversity and breadth of their portfolio.

The Role

The successful candidate will focus on infrastructure and energy-related transactional construction and projects work, with the flexibility to engage in both construction and broader project matters.

  • Contributing to high-profile national and international projects spanning infrastructure, energy, real estate, and financial services sectors.

This role is ideal for candidates of 7+ PQE with a strong background in construction and projects work gained at a large commercial firm or in-house legal team.
