The Real Estate Finance team is seeking a Solicitor with 4+ years PQE to join the growing team in London.
The Role
A Senior Associate with 4+ years PQE in Real Estate Finance is invited to join a fast-growing team in the heart of London.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and be able to handle a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
This position offers the chance to develop as a technical lawyer, working alongside an experienced Partner. The role includes handling a variety of work, fostering networking abilities, and enhancing professional skills.
This expanding Real Estate Finance Team has specialized expertise in secured lending and works primarily with property finance lenders (bridging and development), supporting them in unregulated loan originations.
The role provides an opportunity to join a successful, growing team dedicated to building relationships with new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate will spend 70% of their time fee-earning and 30% supporting junior staff.
As the team continues to grow, there will be opportunities for leadership, making this role ideal for someone aiming to progress in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
Essential Experience
- Qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE
- Experience in residential and commercial real estate
- Regular experience acting for specialist funders on secured loan originations
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
- Interest in business development and building client relationships
- Ability to handle challenging clients and tight deadlines without compromising on quality
- Willingness to collaborate with team members
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of property finance matters, including acquisitions, investment, bridging, and development finance
- Ensure proactive and efficient case management from start to finish
- Build and maintain relationships with lender clients and associated professionals, fostering trust and reliability
- Identify and develop new client relationships in the commercial lending market
- Represent the firm at exhibitions, seminars, and networking events to promote services and connect with lender clients
- Serve as a brand ambassador, enhancing the firm's reputation in the market
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, proactivity, and creativity
