Responsibilities

As Sole Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Your role will include drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, overseeing real estate transactions, managing M&A processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.

Additionally, you will work closely with external international law firms and take ownership of corporate secretarial duties, ensuring the effective governance of a complex corporate structure with 30-40 entities. Your strategic insights will help align legal considerations with business objectives, supporting the group's continued growth and success.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (Ideally UK/US/LUX/SWISS/German/France). You should bring 5-10 years of relevant legal experience, ideally within a multinational corporate setting, with some expertise in both Common Law and Civil Law frameworks.

Strong knowledge of commercial law, real estate law, corporate governance, and M&A is essential, along with excellent negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in German, French, or Arabic is highly desirable. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring the highest legal and ethical standards.
