Solicitor - Commercial Litigation

This independent firm is seeking a Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to take on a mixed commercial litigation caseload, based in their friendly Edinburgh office.

The Role

Based out of the firm's growing Edinburgh office, you will have the opportunity to support a varied client base with a broad spectrum of dispute resolution matters.

You will advise on pre-trail case analysis, develop case strategies, undertake ADR and if required represent your client in the Sherriff Court and Court of Session. As this is a general commercial role, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of disputed matters including company/commercial, property and construction, contentious probate, insolvency and much more.

Furthermore, the litigation will span the full spectrum of sectors, from energy, financial services, technology, transport and more, making for an engaging position.

You will be a core member of this experienced, friendly team and will have ample career progression opportunities in addition to receiving support to develop professionally.

The Ideal Candidate

• Is a qualified solicitor with experience in litigation and a passion for dispute resolution
• Commercially minded
• Has strong attention to detail and organisation
