Solicitor - Insurance Litigation

This Legal 500 full-service law firm, with deep roots in litigation and a longstanding reputation in the London market, is looking to hire a NQ-1 PQE Solicitor to join its specialist Insurance Litigation team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or 1 PQE Solicitor to join a highly regarded Insurance Litigation team in the heart of London.

The team handles a broad mix of insurance disputes, including policyholder coverage disputes, subrogated recoveries, and claims involving professional indemnity, property damage, construction-related losses, and financial services. The work includes both domestic and international claims, often involving high values and complex policy issues.

While prior experience in insurance litigation is welcome, the team is open to candidates from a general commercial litigation background who have a genuine interest in developing a specialism in insurance disputes.

You will work alongside experienced litigators on technically challenging matters and will be supported in developing expertise in this specialist area.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build a long-term career in a leading disputes practice with a particular focus on insurance work.

The Ideal Candidate

• You will be a Newly Qualified Solicitor (September 2025 qualifying trainees are also welcome to apply) and they will look up to 1 year PQE.
• You will have completed a seat in either insurance litigation or commercial litigation, with a genuine interest in specialising in insurance disputes.
• You will have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset.
• You will be enthusiastic, intellectually curious, and eager to develop a long-term career within a respected litigation team.
