The Role
This is an opportunity for an Employment Associate (2+ PQE) to join a L500 Employment team within a leading international firm in the heart of Aberdeen.

You'll work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising a diverse client base including FTSE 100 companies, financial institutions and major UK and global businesses.

Your work will include:

  • Advising on employment and discrimination law issues
  • Managing executive exits, restructuring, and industrial relations
  • Supporting employment litigation and tribunal cases
  • Assisting with corporate transactions and cross-functional projects

This role offers both high-quality and challenging work while in a supportive environment where your development will be actively encouraged.

Your Experience

  • 2+ years' PQE with relevant Employment Law experience, advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Strong technical and advisory skills, able to provide clear, practical legal advice and draft high-quality employment documentation.
  • A commercial, pragmatic mindset, where you can balance legal risk with business realities to deliver actionable solutions for clients.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills. You will have the ability to build strong client relationships and explain complex matters in a clear, accessible way.
  • A collaborative approach where you work well within a team, while taking ownership of personal development and supporting colleagues.
  • Experience in business immigration or tribunal advocacy is advantageous but not essential.
