Role
This is a standout opportunity for a Patent Paralegal to join a high-performing department within a leading firm based in Glasgow. The team is known for its collaborative culture, forward-thinking approach and deep expertise across the full spectrum of patent prosecution work.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality support to a diverse client base, including major UK and international businesses, across all stages of the patent lifecycle. The firm offers a unique environment where paralegals are empowered to develop with scope to work across UK, European and PCT filings, foreign patent matters, assignments, client process development and broader portfolio management.

The team has a strong focus on quality, efficiency and innovation. Alongside this, you will be supported at every stage, where feedback is actively encouraged and regularly integrated into process improvements. You'll work alongside industry-leading professionals who are passionate about mentoring and sharing their knowledge, with a clear emphasis on long-term development and progression.

Your Experience

  • Prior experience in Patent law
  • Ideally, you will be CIPA qualified or have the equivalent experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
  • Confidence in managing competing deadlines and supporting multiple fee earners
