Are you a 2-4 PQE Public Procurement Solicitor looking to join a highly ranked L500 firm and work closely alongside highly regarded experts in the industry?

Role
This leading Top 50 firm is seeking an Associate to join a well-established and nationally recognised Public Procurement team within a firm that's known for its collaborative culture and commitment to public sector excellence.

The firm is appointed to key public sector frameworks and is currently advising on high-profile, nationally significant matters. You'll be advising public sector clients, particularly central government bodies on procurement strategy, drafting procurement documentation and supporting litigation related to procurement challenges.

You will work closely alongside senior members of the team and gain hands-on experience across a range of high-profile projects.
If you have a forward-thinking mindset and a strong client-focused approach, along with relevant public procurement experience, you will greatly benefit from working with this leading procurement team on a diverse range of projects.

Your Experience

  • 2-4 years relevant Public Procurement PQE
  • Experience advising on procurement processes under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023
  • Comfortable reviewing and drafting procurement and tender documentation
  • Exposure to commercial contracts within a procurement context is desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of public sector client needs
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Enthusiastic about business development
  • A collaborative team player, comfortable working with colleagues across multiple office locations
